Model overview
This model reference covers the Viking MVWDE6301SS, a 30"W. Warming Drawer Stainless Steel. The goal is to organize safe pre-service information without guessing at a component. Model-aware diagnosis begins with what the appliance actually does, not with a generic parts list. Viking places this model in the RVL collection.
When requesting service for MVWDE6301SS, note whether the issue is constant or intermittent, what function still operates normally, and whether the condition followed cleaning, installation work, a power event, weather exposure, plumbing work, or another change relevant to this appliance. Do not select a replacement component from the symptom alone.
Do not remove the warming drawer or perform live electrical tests. Repeated breaker trips, arcing, or electrical burning odor are stop-use conditions.
Service may compare the heating circuit, temperature regulation, controls, wiring, drawer fit, and power supply.
